APA, Chicago/Turabian, and Finding Full Text Workshops

Library Survivor workshops are a great way for students to learn about library research methods and techniques outside of a formal classroom setting. There is no registration for these workshops; the doors to Library Classroom B open 10 minutes before the start of the session, and close when either the class is full (20 students) or when the workshop begins.

Many professors offer extra credit for attendance at these workshops. The instructing librarian will circulate an attendance sheet and send an e-mail to the appropriate professors informing them of which students were present.

Library Survivors By Request
Give us a date, time, and the names of at least five students who will definitely attend, and we will hold any Library Survivor when you want it. Please give us at least one week’s notice, and note that the class will only be held if a classroom and librarian are available for that time slot.

November Library Survivors include avoiding plagiarism and using EndNote. Full schedule available at: http://lib.radford.edu/Instruction/survivor.asp
