Help us evaluate databases to purchase

In September and October, we are evaluating a number of databases as potential purchases for the Library. Please try out some of these databases and let us know what you think.

The list of database trials is linked from the “Find Articles & More” page. If you would like to bookmark the list, here is the link: http://rulib.runet.edu/search/ftlist%5Ebib93%2C1%2C0%2C19/mode=2.

Once you choose a database from the list, please click on the “About Resource” button to get a description of the database, when the trial expires, and a link to the trial.

We welcome comments from students, faculty, and staff. Please think about whether the database would help with courses or research. Is it easy to use? Do we already have databases that provide the same information, or would it add better coverage?

We will be adding more trials in the coming days, so be sure to check the list for updates. If you have any questions about these database trials or the selection process, please contact Gerald Gordon, Collection Development Librarian.
