While the library classrooms’ primary purpose is for instructional use, we open them for students for general use in between classes. For the past 2 years, we have designated Classroom A for quiet study during the end-of-the-semester crunch.
But by student request, we are now designating Classroom A for quiet study all semester, not just at the end.
We hope that users who concentrate better in a quiet environment will find this change beneficial. Students may also choose to study on Level 5, which has been designated a quiet area.
Students needing to work in groups are invited to use Library Classroom B (when open) and the computers in the reference area. Groups with personal laptops might also consider using the study rooms on Level 2.
