Please pardon the noise and dust on Level 2. The Division of Information Technology, housed on the ground floor of McConnell, is building a temporary expansion into what is Level 2 in the Library. If you’re familiar with the building, it’s where the copy machines and snack machines reside. The expansion will leave us with a compact egress between the new wall and the periodicals shelves.
The Library will have to move everything (copy machines, vending machines, computers, printer, tables and chairs) from that area to other spots in the building. We will do our best to keep you informed. Right now, the construction area has been cordoned off, and we strongly suggest that all Library patrons stay clear of the area. However, we understand that you need to use the copy machines and we’re trying to work out a way for you to safely use them.
