Library Research Award Applications due Friday, 4 PM!

Did you know you could win $500 for a paper or project you completed
this year?

McConnell Library is giving TWO $500 awards for undergraduate library
research this year- one for a paper/project completed by a freshman or
sophomore, one for a paper/project completed by a junior or senior.

Think about the papers you are working on this semester as well as the
ones you completed since last spring. (Papers and projects from spring
2006, summer 2006, fall 2006, and spring 2007 are all eligible.) Did you
use McConnell Library and its resources to conduct research? If so–
apply!

You will need to provide 5 copies of your paper/project, a letter of support
from the professor, a short essay explaining how you used the library, and a
cover sheet available through the Award Web site.

The deadline is Friday, April 20. Winners will be announced at the
first annual Library Research Awards Reception on Friday, April 27, at 4
PM in the Library lobby. All students, faculty, and staff are invited
to this event!
