Library database access is down

The server which allows users to access our library databases and electronic resources is currently not working. Our technology people are working on the problem as you read this.  People who are off campus will not be able to use the databases and resources until the proxy server is fixed.

If you are on campus and need to use a library database or e-resource, there is a work-around.  From the library Website click on the link to the resource; you will get an error page.  In the Address bar of your browser, modify the URL by taking out the proxy string (http://lib-proxy.radford.edu/login?url=)  from the front end of the URL.  Hit return, and you should be able to get to the database.

If you are ON CAMPUS and would like us to just send you the modified URL, you can e-mail us at refdesk@radford.edu or IM us at RULibSpot. Please tell us which resource you wish to access.  This modified URL will not work for off campus users.
