Copyright and Fair Use Workshop
Wednesday, October 29, 12 noon to 1 pm
Library Classroom A
Presented by Candice Benjes-Small (Library Instruction Team Leader), Kay Johnson (Coordinator of Technical Services), and Dr. Krista Terry (Director, Technology in Learning Center)
How can you tell if a work you want to use in class is copyrighted? What does “fair use” mean you can do with copyrighted works? What rules govern how you can use works in the classroom and on WebCT/Blackboard? Is it okay to send articles to students through e-mail? Are you sure? Join us in grappling with thorny copyright questions.
No registration is necessary for this workshop.
Questions and suggestions can be sent to Candice at cbsmall@radford.edu
